Galaxy Grand Duos will be finally running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. This statement is true but not completely. The galaxy grand duos mentioned and being talked here is the latest model launched as successor of the very famous Galaxy Grand Duos.
Almost all of Galaxy Grand Duos 1 users are waiting for any hint about their smartphone getting the next version of Android on their smartphone. However after the release of Galaxy Grand Duos 2 with Android 4.3 with upgraded hardware and software configuration, it seems, Galaxy Grand Duos previous model GT-i9082 will not be getting Android v4.3 update.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos 2 Specification and Features

Galaxy Grand Duos 2 comes with a bigger display of 5.25inch HD TFT type display with a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The display has been improved over the old WVGA type display of previous model and now provides a HD viewing experience which somehow was being missed on the previous model.
Even the processor is upgraded from 1.2GHz dual core to 1.2GHz quad-core processor. So this should be making Galaxy Grand Duos provide a better smartphone experience which somehow was missing in Galaxy Grand Duos specially after the Android 4.2.2 Update. The Update brought with many issues with the smartphone, forcing users to switch. And was time for Samsung to provide the Galxy Grand Duos fans a better option to switch without compromising with the Grand thing.
Galaxy Grand Duos 2’s RAM has also been upgraded to 1.5GB. Previously It was 1GB and I must admit, at times this seemed to insufficient. The internal storage of Both Grand Duos is same and that is 8GB, (user aceesible memory would be less) and both can be expanded to 64GB via microSD card.
Rear Camera of Galaxy Grand Duos 2 does not seem to be upgraded on hardware basis. Both the models have the same 8MP rear camera with a LED flash. However since the new model is coming with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out of the box, we do expect some additional camera features at least on the software part.
Galaxy Grand Duos 2 Portrays 1.9MP HD front camera.
Galaxy Grand Duos 2 Browser now comes with support for flash.
